Shoe box appeal
Tuesday 21st October:
We spent part of the afternoon preparing shoeboxes to send to children in Eastern Europe. We worked in pairs to wrap up a shoe-box, then fill them up with some essential items, like a toothbrush and toothpaste, then some extra things, hopefully to give the children an exciting time unwrapping them this Christmas. We pray that the children who get them enjoy their gift and that in this way we might share the love of Jesus with people we don't know around the world.
We discovered that there's lots of blessing in giving too! We all enjoyed doing this together.
