On Saturday 28th September most of Year 8 and Year 9 joined Mrs Hurley at the Guildhall in Bath.  Lots of the students had read ‘Letters from a Lighthouse’ which was Emma Carroll’s first book.  She has gone on to write another nine books and was promoting her latest book ‘The Somerset Tsunami’.

She spoke for about 30 minutes about her latest book and we all had to be a human tsunami at one point.  She did a question and answer session which was really interesting.

We queued for a long time to get our books signed but she gave us lots of time and we took pictures.
