Puffin and Kingfishers Tapestry Trip

The photos below show a A trip to an exhibition called ‘Threads Through Creation’.

Puffin and Kingfisher Class Visited Victoria Methodist Church in Bristol at the end of September to see an exhibition of quilt panels.

The quilt panels were about the days of Creation.  It matches our topic of ‘Beginnings’ very nicely.

The artist Jacqui Parkinson made these 12 colourful panels telling the story of Creation in the Bible. It comes from the book of Genesis, which means 'Beginnings'. It took Jacqui 3 years to make and she used 8 million stitches!

After seeing the panels, we were in awe of Jacqui’s skill but even more in awe of our wonderful creator God.
